We are blessed to live in a time where software engineers are making a lot of money. It isn’t because they are smart, talented, or hard working. It is just because Silicon Valley is a small place and salaries are not that high. The average pay for an engineer is $180k. And these types of salaries are the same when you go out of town or to the coasts.
Silicon Valley is the perfect place to live as an engineer but its not the best place to live. The best part about Silicon Valley is that it is so small that there is always someone to talk to and go bowling with. The worst part is that engineers are so busy with their work that they do not have time to have real friends. I see this happen in the majority of the country.
It’s true that Silicon Valley is a great place to live, but you have to start by realizing that the people who live there are really very small and very self-absorbed. Most of them are self-centered, and they live in a bubble of their own self-worth. Silicon Valley is only a small part of the country, but the self-absorbed ones are the most visible.
The most visible members of Silicon Valley are the people who make the most money in the country, and the people who live in Silicon Valley because they know they can do whatever they want. It isn’t that you can’t be a real person and make money in Silicon Valley. It’s that you can’t be a real person and have a real life outside of the Valley, and that is where the real people are.
You can have an awesome career and be a really good person. I think most of us in Silicon Valley are just people who are really good at making money and not caring about being good at anything else.
It is possible to be both. There is no limit to what a person can be in life. You can be a really good person and a really bad person. You can be a really good person and be an asshole. You can be a really good person and still be a dick. You can be a really bad person and still be a nice person. You can be a really bad person and be a nice person at the same time.
One of the more prominent examples of someone who has “succeeded” in life is Steve Jobs. He was a very good person, but he was also a very bad person. He was a very good person who had a very bad personality, and he was an asshole without any redeeming qualities.
Jobs may not have been a particularly good person, but he was an asshole. He was a real asshole at Apple, and I think that’s the most important quality that distinguishes good people from bad people.
