nvidia takes wraps its latest
NVIDIA took wraps their newest graphics chip, nvidia’s new Titan X, and it looks amazing. I am not a fan of the new chip but the new chip is so far ahead of the competition that more gamers will be able to choose between the GTX 1070 or GTX 1080.
The Titan X is the first graphics card to feature Nvidia’s new Turing architecture and it’s the one that’s going to be most widely used. Unlike AMD’s Radeon VII, or the GTX 1070, the Titan X can actually run the latest games. The GTX 1080/1080 Ti/1070 series is supposed to be the last of the line so we’re really looking at gamers on the move in a game that’s going to be coming out only a month from now.
I’m happy to say that the Titan X is now available for pre-order at many retailers for a suggested price of $999, and should be available for purchase on all their storefronts in the next few days. It’s going to be quite expensive, however, and the most likely explanation is that Nvidias new Turing architecture will be more than a little hard to beat in a competition like this.

It has the same gaming capability as the Titan X’s predecessor the Titan V, but for something that will cost $399, in addition to having a massive 4K screen and the same 4K gaming capabilities, the Titan X is a more cost-effective solution.
The Titan Xs predecessor came out a couple years ago, so it’s a little difficult to judge just exactly how much better or worse Nvidias new architecture will be, but Nvidias new architecture should be able to surpass the Titan X in terms of gaming capability.

At the time of its launch, the Titan X was one of the more expensive GPUs in its class, but that price tag does have a lot of competition. Nvidia’s new Titan X, which will be priced at 399 dollars, is just as capable, just faster, and more affordable. So there you have it. Is Nvidias new architecture really the future of gaming? It’s a little hard to say, but we’ll take it.
The Titan X is indeed a better solution for gamers who demand high performance and good quality content. However if you are looking for a more affordable solution, the GTX 970 is the way to go.
GPU’s are the most important parts of a GPU. By the way, this is just my opinion. In reality, I know a lot of people who prefer the NVIDIA GTX 970 over the GTX Titan X. I’m not saying that is fair, but I don’t care if you like GTX Titan X better than GTX 970. Its a little bit like comparing apples with oranges.
The GTX Titan X is a bit of a hybrid GPU. It may be a GTX 980 GPU but the Titan X adds a pair of high-end GK104 GPUs. The GTX 970 is a good choice for people who want a high-end GPU that will handle high-end gaming. The GTX 970 is a decent choice for gamers who want a high-end GPU for budget gaming in lower specs.
