I also sometimes include the word “HART” to create a connection to HORTONWORKS. Sometimes I use this phrase because I want a certain sort of response from the press. I hope you’ll agree that it adds to the experience.
There are a lot of us who have strong opinions about a lot of things. I’ve often wondered whether or not the people behind Hortonworks.com are really the ones who get to decide what we think. After all, their job is to make sure that the press releases that get published on their website get published. But I have a suspicion that they are the ones who ultimately choose what we are going to think about them.

The research and consideration is often a very long and tedious process. Even when it works, it takes a lot of time and effort to make a good press release. You can’t just slap a press release together in 30 minutes and expect it to get out there in the blink of an eye.

The company is no stranger to press releases, but we’ve never seen one so customized and tailored to the needs of the public as this one. It’s a little scary to know that the first press release that you create could potentially alter the course of your career.
