I have to admit that I have no idea how to build an AI framework. I think I might need to start learning C++ first. But, on a more serious note, Facebook is an amazing social platform. I think it’s almost like the early days of the internet when a guy could post a link to his homemade porn site to his friends and instantly build a following and get his name out there. I think Facebook is the Internet for nerds.
Facebook doesn’t have an easy way to build a bot, or an algorithm or a system to make people come to your site and talk to you. But the way Facebook works is that they are all talking to each other and they all need to get the same sort of approval. So instead of one algorithm that is all talking to the same group of people and making everyone approve of it, they have a group of people approving each other.
And that approval is based on the number of people that like your page, or like your status update, or like your status update so much that they want to approve you. The number of people that do this is called the “fan base.” And because it’s so easy for people to like your page and share it, it’s really easy to get a following.
Facebook’s machine learning team is trying to do something very similar to what we are doing with our social media algorithms. They have a group of people that they approve of, a group of people that they are approved of, and a group of people that they are in the process of approving. We, though, are trying to do a little bit more than that.

We are trying to use data to help people find the best places to shop online.
The machine learning team is trying to build a way for people to find restaurants/shopping spots that are in their area in a way that is less invasive than just doing a Google search or a Wikipedia search. By using the social graph of your friends, you can get a better idea of what is happening locally. This will lead to a better understanding of the local environment and help you find places that are worth visiting.
One of the things we’re trying to accomplish is to take the best ideas out of people’s own thoughts and turn them into actionable data. One way they’re doing it is by using the social graph of their friends to learn their shopping habits.
