Why People Love to Hate apple watch handoff

As I’ve mentioned a number of times before, I love the apple watch. I just love the idea that the company, Apple, is making it. The watch has been around for quite some time now, but it is still a new product for me to get excited about. I’ve been a big fan of Apple since the iPod came out, and I love the idea that they are going to release a new Apple Watch in 2016.

Apple has a great record with its own products, and they did it with the original iPhone. That being said, they have a history of releasing older and less-popular products (i.e. the iPod Classic) and then launching the new one, the latest iPhone. That’s what they did with the original iPhone and it works for them. Apple has worked with many companies like Microsoft, who also started releasing their own products.

I think it is a good thing, but I wish it would have happened sooner. Apple should have waited until it had more experience with the product and the market. Apple has always had a relatively small product line, and as such I think the iPhone would not have been as successful as Apple would have liked. But that’s just me.

When I first started using the iPhone I did not expect to have to make many of these handoffs. That is, I would not have expected to have to call up my wife and say, “Hey, you need to send your iPhone to your sister.” My only problem with that is I would have had to look up her number in my phone book. But thankfully I was wrong. Now that I have used the iPhone more often, I don’t need to look up her number.

The iPhone has been great for our personal lives, but it has become a hindrance to our professional lives too. When you have a lot of work to do and you have to be at your desk for eight hours a day, you can simply not be in our office. If you need to call your boss, you have to look up his number. If you need to call your wife about something, you have to look up her number.

At first I was like, “I’m so used to calling the boss at work and having him pick up the phone, so why not at home?” And then I realized that if you can’t get to your phone, it’s not that hard to get to your computer. And by computer I meant iTunes. Apple’s iTunes is like the Apple Store on your computer.

We’ve been getting a lot of calls at home from friends asking if we could get them some music for their kids to listen to without them having to buy it. It does seem a bit too much to ask of a phone, even if you have a Nexus One, so Apple are going to have to make sure their new smartwatch has the same easy-to-use interface as their iPhone.
